Remote Support Sessions and Home-Office Help

Remote support means we fix your computer over the internet while it sits right where it is. Here’s what we can help with, how sessions stay safe, and who it suits.

Things we sort out

  • Slow or freezing computers
  • Email, calendar and password problems
  • Printers, scanners and second monitors
  • Software installs and updates
  • Wi-Fi and home network glitches
  • Video call audio and camera trouble
  • Setting up shared files, chat and meetings for a team

Two ways to work

Attended: you’re there

You start the session with a one-time code and watch as we work. Best for one-off problems and anything where you want to see what’s happening.

Unattended: you’ve pre-approved it

For computers you choose, a small support agent is installed with your permission so we can do maintenance when you’re not around. You can remove it whenever you like. Our attended versus unattended support explainer covers the differences.

Keeping sessions safe

  • You start every attended session yourself, so nobody can call out of the blue and connect.
  • The connection is encrypted.
  • You see everything on screen and can end the session at any time.
  • Session codes expire once used.

Home-office help

Remote support pairs nicely with a better home setup. We help you choose the gear and settings that make long workdays easier. Start with our home-office setup checklist.

Who it suits

Anyone with an internet connection and a computer that still turns on. If your machine won’t start at all, it needs hands-on repair before remote help can step in.

Ready when you are

Tell us what’s going wrong, or what you’d like your home setup to do better, and we’ll take it from there.
